Terms of Service — Prompt: Invoice & Quote Maker

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of Prompt: Invoice & Quote Maker, provided by Smart Business Technologies Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 17356511.
By creating an account or using Prompt, you agree to these Terms.
2. About Prompt
Prompt is a business productivity application that enables users to create and manage invoices, estimates and quotations, generate PDF documents, store business information and use AI-assisted writing features.
The App is intended for adults and business-related use.
3. Accounts and Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for ensuring the information you enter is accurate and lawful.
You must have appropriate permission to enter and process personal information belonging to your customers or other individuals.
4. Subscriptions and Free Trial
Prompt offers the following subscription plans, subject to the prices presented in the relevant app store:
Monthly subscription: £9.99
Annual subscription: £99.99
Free trial: 14 days, where available and eligible
Subscriptions are managed and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Unless cancelled in accordance with the relevant store’s requirements, subscriptions automatically renew. If a free trial applies, billing begins after the trial unless the subscription is cancelled in time.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple or Google account.
Deleting the App does not automatically cancel a subscription.
Refund requests are handled in accordance with the relevant app store’s procedures and applicable consumer rights.
5. AI-Generated Content
Prompt may use artificial intelligence to help generate or improve job descriptions and related text.
AI-generated information is provided as an assistance feature and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and approving content before using it in invoices, quotations or estimates.
6. Financial and Professional Responsibility
Prompt is a document creation tool and does not replace professional accounting, tax, legal or financial advice.
You remain responsible for the accuracy of financial information, calculations, tax details, payment terms and documents issued to your customers.
7. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you create or upload, subject to applicable rights.
You grant us permission to process that content to the extent needed to provide the App and its requested functionality.
You must not use Prompt to create unlawful, fraudulent or misleading documents.
8. Availability and Updates
We may update, maintain or improve Prompt from time to time.
Although we aim to provide a reliable service, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
9. Intellectual Property
The App’s software, branding, design and related intellectual property belong to Smart Business Technologies Ltd or its licensors.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive right to use Prompt in accordance with these Terms.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising from inaccurate information entered by users, unreviewed AI-generated content or misuse of the App.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability that cannot legally be excluded, or affects mandatory consumer rights.
11. Termination and Account Deletion
You may stop using Prompt and request account deletion by contacting support@smartbusinesstechnologies.co.uk.
Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions. Please download any documents you wish to keep before requesting deletion.
12. Privacy
Use of personal information is described in our Prompt Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections that apply in your country of residence.
